Advocate for the healthcare infrastructure needed for our Town to thrive,

• Push for the return of the Nurse Practitioner,

• Discuss the future needs of our Town as the Glendale area alone will almost double our population,

• Liaise with the Niagara Health System to address these needs.

• Lobby our MPP and Regional Governments to assist in voicing our healthcare needs.

 

Dr. Stephen Cooper, Ontario Medical Association, has stated that healthcare is an infrastructure and that municipalities have a role to play in advocating for the healthcare needs of their community and recommends creating an advocacy plan.
